Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) and her global mission to defend the authority of the scripture

For some years now, the Anglican Communion world-wide have been contending with the problems arising from the infiltration of excessive modernism and liberal thought into its midst from the West. The study examines critically the key events of the two Lambeth Conferences in the last millennium, held in 1988 and 1989, wherein women ordination and the Western philosophy of human sexuality were debated. Prompting the Africa and the global south to severed relation with their sister churches in the West and founded Global Anglican Future Conference GAFCON. Many talks have been held between the liberal and the conservatives to find solutions to the problems, but to no avail. Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) established missionary diocese in the West where church is highly leveraged and grappling with Western philosophy of human sexuality. Although it seems impossible to stop gay-union, its spread was curbed. Proper harmonization of missionary dioceses recommended for maximum profit. A historical approach was adopted, basically depending on secondary sources, supplemented with oral interviews.
